Technology that adapts to your infrastructure

Signosoft can be used as a cloud service, integrated into an existing application, or run on your own infrastructure. Same product, three different ways to operate.

Quick solution

Client-server architecture with a clear boundary

The client layer serves users and devices, the server layer holds documents, signature data, and integrations. The boundary between them is also a boundary you can route through your own infrastructure.

Client layer

  • Browser application
  • Native mobile application
  • iFrame integration
  • Signosoft SignPad JS
  • iFrame integration
  • Signosoft mobile SDK
  • Customer's own frontend

Server layer

  • Signosoft Server
  • Database
  • Document storage
  • API
  • Plugins and integration layer
By industry

Cloud, or on-premise

The decision almost always comes down to one question: are signed documents allowed to leave your network?

Cloud (SaaS)

We run Signosoft for you. Nothing to install or maintain — it's the fastest way to your first signature. Updates, backups, monitoring, and recovery of server certificates are on us.

On-premise

Signosoft Server runs inside your infrastructure — neither documents nor signature data leave your network. Deploy it on a physical or virtual server, or just as well in a virtualized environment or on Kubernetes, with multiple instances and rolling updates with no downtime.

Integration

Signing wherever you need it

Signosoft doesn't have to be a standalone application. Your system generates the document, Signosoft takes care of the signing, and returns the finished PDF.

A REST API is available for server-to-server communication, embedded signing in an iFrame when the signer should stay in your application, and a plugin integration layer for cases where the behavior needs to happen inside Signosoft — for example when a signed document needs to end up in a mainframe, or login needs to go through your own identity provider.

Four levels of integration

  • REST API — full functional control
  • iFrame — quick embedding of the signing process
  • Plugins — connect to ready-made CRM/ERP tools
  • JS driver — direct control of signing pads
Developers tools

Signosoft SignPad JS

Handwritten signatures inside your own web app — no driver install on the signer's computer. A framework-agnostic JavaScript library for React, Angular, Vue, and plain JS.

Alongside the signature image, it also returns how it was drawn: position, timing, and — where the device reports it — pressure. Try it on the right.

Apps & platforms

What the client side runs on

This is no longer about the server, but about what the user has in front of them. The foundation is a browser app that works everywhere; on Windows, iOS, and Android a native app is added.

  • New

    Windows

A native desktop app now sits alongside the browser one. Both support sign-pads and certificates stored on the computer.

  • macOS

A browser app. Sign-pad capture doesn't work on macOS — sign with a mouse, a trackpad, or by transferring to a phone.

  • iOS & iPadOS

Native app and browser. Sign with a finger or an Apple Pencil, which also captures pressure.

  • Android

Native app and browser, phones and tablets. Capturing pressure requires a compatible pen.

Security & legislation

What secures the signature, technically

Security isn't a single feature — it's a layer that runs through every document. A full explanation, including the legal side, is on its own page.

Technical security measures

  • HTTPS / SSL encryption
  • PKI infrastructure
  • Cryptographic hash
  • Encrypted biometrics
  • Integrity checks
  • Audit trail
  • Qualified certificates
  • Timestamps
  • HSM integration
  • Secured keystore
Administration

The whole system is configured from one console

Company structure, users, security policy, and app appearance — all from one place, without touching code.

  • Company and department structure, users and roles
  • Configurable parameters with visible value origin
  • White label — logo, colors, font, with a live preview
  • Button layout — which features a user even sees
  • Custom wording in thirteen languages

Settings are inherited down the structure levels — server, company, department. You only configure what should differ.

For IT & Enterprise

When it needs to run on your infrastructure

System requirements, supported databases, high availability, sign-pads over Citrix, RDP, and VMware, and integration with company identity providers.

Most common IT questions from the security questionnaire

  • How is data-at-rest encryption handled?
  • Does the platform support SSO via SAML / OIDC?
  • Can we use our own key storage (KMS)?
  • Is the architecture ready for multi-tenant operation?
  • Can audit logs be sent directly to a SIEM?
